What is Hair Transplant?

Hair Transplant is a great option to choose if you are facing the trouble of hair thinning or baldness. The Process

In this medical technique, tiny grafts that contain several hair follicles are taken mostly from the back of the head as they are resistant to balding. These follicles are taken and transplanted to the bald patch by creating slits in the scalp. Hair transplant is also used to fill in scars that might have been caused due to accidents or earlier transplants. The technique is also used to repair scanty eyebrows, eyelashes, chest hair, pubic hairs or beard hairs.

Post surgery recovery

The scalp might feel very sensitive after the surgery for a few days. Your doctor will provide you with medications like painkillers and anti-inflammatory drug for the pain and the swelling. The transplanted hairs will fall out after two to three weeks of the surgery, and one can notice new hair growth within a few months of the surgery. Receding hairline or baldness, scanty eyelash growth or almost invisible eyebrows, now you know that you have a cure.
